Privacy Policy

Prospectr is a lead-discovery tool: you give it a business website, and it reads the site, works out who that business's best-fit customers are, and returns a ranked list of real local businesses that match. This policy covers the data Prospectr collects through its marketing site, request-a-demo form, and the dashboard app at https://prospectr.wimentorltd.com — what we collect, why, who it's shared with, and what control you have over it.

Prospectr is operated by Wimentor Ltd. In this document "we", "us" and "our" mean Wimentor Ltd, and "you" means anyone who visits the site, requests a demo, or holds an account.

Account data. If you're invited to Prospectr: your name, email address, a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text), and your plan.

What you submit to run a search. The website URL you paste in, and the pages we fetch from it (typically the homepage plus an About and Contact page) to produce a business summary, inferred customer segments, and a ranked prospect list.

Prospect data. The businesses a search returns — names, categories, addresses, phone numbers, websites, ratings, and review counts — are pulled from public business-listing providers (see §4). This is data about third-party businesses, not people, and is already public on those platforms; we don't scrape it ourselves.

Demo requests. If you request a demo: your name, work email, phone number, company, company website, country, city, team size, and any message you add.

Sample search on the marketing site. If you paste a website into the public “try it” field, we store the hostname only (for example example.cm), not the full URL, path, or query string. That paste does not run a live search. We use it to see which businesses people want to try, and to improve the product.

Contact form. Your name, email address, and message.

Technical data. Standard server and application logs — IP address, browser/user-agent string, timestamps, session identifiers, and error reports — collected automatically to keep the service running and secure.

We do not collect payment card details ourselves — Prospectr does not yet process payments. When billing launches, that section of this policy will be updated before it goes live.

• To run the pipeline: read a submitted site, infer customer segments, find and score matching prospects, and show you the ranked results.
• To create and manage your account, enforce your plan's search and result limits, and authenticate you.
• To respond to demo requests and contact-form messages, and to send transactional email — an invite to set your password, a password reset link, or an alert if a search fails.
• To understand which websites people paste into the public sample search, so we can improve coverage and follow up when someone later requests a demo.
• To monitor, secure, and improve the reliability of the service — for example, diagnosing a failed search or an unusual pattern of requests.
• To enforce our Terms of Use and prevent abuse of the platform.

We do not use the content of your searches or account data to sell advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Running a search means putting your data through our own systems and a small number of underlying infrastructure providers that keep them running. We only send what each step needs, and never more:

• Our AI models. The text of the pages we fetch from your submitted site is analyzed by Prospectr's highly-trained AI models to produce the business summary and customer segments — with an automatic backup in place so analysis keeps working reliably if the primary model is ever unavailable. We don't use your data to train AI models beyond delivering your results, and it isn't used for anything else.
• Business-listing data. Prospect discovery draws on business-listing data sources to find real local businesses matching each AI-inferred segment. The category and location we search for come from that inference, not from anything you typed directly.
• Infrastructure. Our application, database, and email delivery run on standard cloud hosting and transactional-email infrastructure, used only to keep Prospectr running.

We don't share your data with data brokers, advertisers, or anyone building a marketing profile of you. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Prospectr, our users, or the public.

Prospectr uses a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the app against cross-site request forgery. See our Cookie Policy for the full list — we don't currently set any advertising or analytics cookies.

We keep your account, searches, and the prospects they returned for as long as your account is active, so your search history stays useful. Demo requests and contact-form messages are kept long enough to follow up and for a reasonable period afterward for our own records.

If you'd like your account and its data deleted, email us at info@wimentorltd.com and we'll action it, minus anything we're required to retain for legal, security, or accounting reasons.

Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. The app is served over HTTPS in production, and access to the dashboard is invite-only and gated behind authentication. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so while we work to protect your data we can't guarantee absolute security.

Because Prospectr's AI models and business-listing infrastructure run in more than one country, your data may be processed outside the country you're in — including in the United States and the European Union. That processing is limited to delivering your results.

Depending on where you're based, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email info@wimentorltd.com. We'll respond as quickly as we reasonably can.

Prospectr is a business-to-business tool and isn't directed at, or knowingly used by, children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy as Prospectr changes — particularly once billing, team accounts, or new data sources ship. We'll update the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to let account holders know.
